Looking Southwards down the pristine beach....
...and North from the same spot
Typical reddish-orange shell
The Northern end of the Island is pretty quiet
Looking South towards town
At a Nature Preserve not too far from the island... some kinda funky Jays.
Nope, don't know what it is..
Everything we needed to identify the wading birds was there... except for the birds. Not a bird in sight!
Another endangered species is clearly "The American Sign-Reader". Yup, that's the bright folks walking away from the gate right there.
See if you can spot the Alligator in the Alligator Pond!
(First you gotta find them!)
The Yuccas were in bloom, but just starting to brown by the time we got down there.
The inside of Casa Robinson
..and from the other direction
The deck, where we ate all of our dinners
Not bad for almost 6 in the evening. Comfy!
Another interior view just to help me orient myself...
The master suite!
Hey, if you can't be loud and boistrous, then what the heck is the POINT?!?
To truly enjoy the existence of this sign (or road!) you should be familiar with the Austin Lounge Lizards song: "Old Blevins". Funny as heck.
Bus stop in downtown Oklahoma City next to the Murrah Building Memorial. The tree silhouette is of the "survivor tree" - a tree on the grounds that survived the blast.
The whole time we were there, these two ducks in the middle of the reflecting pool hardly moved.
All of the stone used in here was salvaged from the original building
