Local Newspaper Seeks Proofreader!
Casey enjoys a leisurely read out on the deck.
Posing for Grandma....
The cool blossoms from the tree in the previous picture.
Everything was in bloom. The shade of red in the photo doesn't do this justice.
These little yellow flowers in the middle were very very tiny
Health food all the way, the entire week! This half-pound burger was definitely enough food for a day.
The Internet at the camp library was down. I just liked the spelling of "Wi-Fi"!
Outside the park.... this lets you know that it is almost time to turn into the driveway
Casey goofs around in the pool.
Art - looking up from underwater
Flyaway hair... lovely!
Good Lord, the eyes get bloodshot in a hurry if you keep 'em open underwater!
Casey and I get our full Tourist on... in Neuvo Progresso, Mexico.
Y'see, it was "Tourist Day" in Neuvo Progresso.
Cool headdress that one of the dancers was wearing. I missed getting pictures of them dancing however...
One of the things I love about the buildings in Nuevo Progresso, though, is the bright colors
I love the combo - Restaurant, Bar, Jewelry, Curios, AND a Pharmacy!
Again with the bright colors - and service is Garantized for 3 mowths! (I understand that this is better English than my Spanish, however!)
Casey and I hit the beach at South Padre Island (with my mom, who did NOT go into the surf)
The natural beauty of the beach is disrupted somewhat by the road that has been plowed into the sand about 10 feet from the water...
We get closer to the water....
Photos don't really convey just how much of a SMACK it is when the waves hit
Goofball self-portrait to prove I was there - sorry about the water droplets on the lens cover
Slick-looking (but dead) Jellyfish just out of the water...
Actually, there were two right next to each other
Casey looks for the next big one to hit
This is right before my head got dunked...
..and this is right before Casey also gets his head dunked!
