Upon arriving in the city, the first step was to drive as far up a hill as we could. Looking down Lombard street towards the West.

Looking out at the North beach

This was really meant to be a picture of the sailboat coming in out of the fog, but the seagull seems to have stolen the focus.
Some ship in the bay... didn't catch the name.
Looking up at Telegraph Hill.
Parked under the Bay Bridge (the one you CAN see during the evening).
A sweeping view of the Bay Bridge
Industrial/Corporate art on the waterfront

It's an Octopus AND a skateboard-grinding-prevention device!
More bronze animals risking their lives to keep skateboarders from destroying the edge of the wall....
This was all I saw of the Golden Gate bridge in the 4 hours I spent in the city.
Up on top of Telegraph Hill
The fog kept moving in while we watched. Alcatraz is in there somewhere

From atop Telegraph Hill, looking out towards the Bay Bridge, I liked the rustic look of the deck that this house had on top of its roof. Unfortunately there isn't enough contrast range to show you the bay and the deck at the same time, so you'll have to take my word for it.

Looking over to Telegraph Hill, with my back to the twisty-turny part of Lombard Street.
