Bob Schneider at Buck Hill, Minnesota
February 24, 2002
This was one weird place to do a show. More like a cafeteria than a stage,
and surrounded by people (many in costume) who had just finished racing mattresses
down the ski hill just outside.
Buck Hill (the one and the same place as in the Replacements song) is just
about 5 miles south of Minneapolis - it's a skiing hill, of all places!
As I always do, CLICK ON THE PHOTOS FOR LARGER COPIES. So, without further
ado....
You can't really see how small the room is from here,
but the ceiling was at points only a few feet above his head

Got a peek at Bruce over in the corner every once in a while, but his
side of the stage was DARK. |

Billy and Bob, with Mike rocking out back by the drumset |
Billy, in his aviator glasses and serious ear-protection
earmuffs - just like they wear at the airport!

Bruce - again, it was pretty dark so I had to tweak this one. Sorry for
the poor quality. |
Finally it got dark enough outside that I had to start
taking them with the flash. This is towards the end of the show, and the
cap is still firmly planted. Sorry, ladies!
