Deck the Halls... with a deer!

This was the result, in November 2004, of us being sick and tired of the same old "Christmas Deer" decorations getting trotted out each year. We decided it had all been done, and it was time for something different. My wife, (the vegetarian) came up with this dastardly method of display for a deer we rescued out of a dumpster (so you see, it was dead already). A short tabulation of emails over the past year is so far running at about 90 "for" and 1 "against". Feel free to add your own 2 cents!

It is perhaps worth mentioning that this is a dig at all those dumb deer sprinkled all over the lawns every December - NOT against Christmas! For goodness' sake, I don't remember light-up deer in the Nativity story, do you?

12/22/05 - Update- SNOPES thinks/thought we are in Orlando, FL. Well, they were close. This is in Minneapolis, MN.

Next, down to the basement for some "modifications". Here is the evil genius at work.

As a bonus, the second string of red lights (which is on the ground) flashes on and off!
